I do have a couple of high quality [and expensive] bar mini fridges from other brands but those brands didn't offer anything comparable in the dual temperature wine fridge category ~ so i needed to look around at other brands.

After doing a ton of research and a little uncomfortable with the complaints about bottle size issues such as only one temperature setting, funky rack spacing and alignment, noise, reliability and quality of construction for other manufactured brands, a lot of which were twice the price, I came to this site and was pleased with what I was reading.

My natural concern at the time was this unit was 50% cheaper that what looked like "comparible brands" and yet seemed to have solved the issues and offer the quality that other brand buyers were complaining about.

I decided to try it, thinking that at a 50% lower price I don't have a lot of risk and I will take a chance on the quality of construction.

My report is that I have had this unit now for 2 years with no issues and its a great unit ~ forget about the lower price for a second, this is a good looking, super well built unit with the quality and functionality that I was hoping for ~ a home run purchase.

If this is the right size and scale for what you are hoping for, look no further, this is a great unit.

This is our second Smith & Hanks Beverage cooler as we moved and our old one was built into our kitchen island.
Once again, easy to set up and get running, we currently have this in our dining room loaded with a variety of drinks. I love how quiet it is.

Bought this model to replace one that stopped cooling too soon. I researched many products before choosing the Smith & Hanks. I chose Smith & Hanks because of their story and that they only make wine and beverage coolers. Unit is very quiet and keeps bottles cooled at correct temps. It can get a little tight with Champagne and larger red bottles, but overall an excellent product.

This is a beautiful beverage refrigerator and has a great capacity. It's quiet, very useful, and was a breeze to adjust and install when it arrived.

I bought my wine cooler in 2016 and it just stopped working before Christmas. I called Smith and Hanks and the associates could not be friendlier and most helpful. They sent a new part that we guessed was the problem then a few more parts and joila It is up and running. If and when this one does go by the ways side I will call them immediately for a new one!!!Do not hesitate to buy Smith and Hanks

Beverage color is a great product. Quiet and keeps the beverages cold. There are a lot of places to buy a beverage cooler, but if something goes wrong, you better be buying from a good company. Smith & Hanks helped me with some issues that were not related to the product, and were fantastic to deal with. I would buy from them again without hesitation.

176 Can Premier Under Counter Beverage Cooler

This is the 2nd beverage cooler I have bought from Smith & Hanks. It looks great, it works well, it is quiet, and it was very easy to install/startup.

I looked at too many overpriced under-counter refrigerators. The range of prices varies wildly $400-$4,000. Some of the big names around $2,500 felt cheaply made in person. Saw only a few reviews on S&H but they were mostly very good. I emailed them with a couple questions and they were quick to respond. Felt like a gamble ordering online without seeing. Shipping took a while because it came from East Coast to CA. Was boxed very well with no damage. I stalled easily myself. It looks and works high end but was under $1,000. Very happy with the purchase and it’s been holding my setting of 36 degrees for 4 months now with no issues. I highly recommend and may buy their wine fridge later.

A nice choice. We love the space, double temperate feature, and kicking feature since we have children. Some of the wine racks are too close together for some select larger bottles but this does not bother us at all.

We ordered one of these a few years ago and it is fantastic! I was tired of having to allocate space in my fridge for beer - not to mention the guys would get their greasy paws all over my kitchen fridge! This alleviated those issues. I was super surprised that there was room on just 1 shelf for a whole case (plus more) of beer bottles! And still plenty of room to spare for things like OJ, simple syrup, lime juice, mixes, etc... ! So this unit ended up serving my guys AND our home bar. Very impressed. Runs quiet and still running strong - an obvious quality product from the metal trim, the front glass, the shelving with wood accents. A seriously well made and designed product.
